Grace, Rhinos, Xanex and Dreams by S.N. Mornington

A short story about an unexpected tragedy changes a family forever when Nicola’s father-in-law commits suicide. The ebb and flow of emotions, including shock, denial, anger, loss, dread and profound sadness as they are seen through Nicola’s eyes and felt by her very soul.

It Takes Three by S.N. Mornington

The story of a first date turned into a 32-hour assault. Written from the perspective of the victim, but entirely in the third person, the story is written in a pros matter-of-fact style. It’s the only way I can write about it. If I imagine that I am writing about someone else, well… it creates the necessary rift I need in order to pretend I am writing someone else’s story.
